Job Description

I am a PhD student at the Department of Electronics and Informatics(ETRO) of the Faculty of Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel(VUB) since 2010. I am also a teaching assisstant in the course of Programming Project which is a compulsory course for the Programme Master of Science in Applied Sciences and Engineering: Applied Computer Science.

I am currently a member of BN@work which is a European Community for Researchers on Probabilistic Graphical Models.


Research

Research field: Probabilistic Graphical Models, Modeling dynamic systems.

Models: Bernoulli models, Markov Chain Models, Hidden Markov Models, Dynamic Bayesian Networks, Graphical Duration Models.

Application: Dynamic Probabilistic Graphical Models of the Degradation Process of Industrial Machines


Projects

Prognostics for Optimal Maintenance (POM) Research project, an SBO project supported by IWT as member of the ETRO lab.
