I try to make the program here as long as I can. I will put archive "distributions" here in 3 compressed formats (GNU zipped, bzipped and Zipped).
About version number and alike. Since I have no idea as to the number times I will have to correct the kernel I have chosen for an easier approach. The number at the end of the archive is the date of the release. The format will thus be lilgpp-yymmdd.extension (it used to be lilgpp_yymmdd.extension but the sunsite doesn't recommend underscores so...). The convenient thing about this is that a high number means unvariably a newer release.
Gzipped | Bzipped | Zipped | Comment |
lilgpp_000417.tar.gz (288Kb) | lilgpp_000417.tar.bz2 (236Kb) | lilgpp_000417.zip (364Kb) | First release, here we go! |
lilgpp_000511.tar.gz (108Kb) | lilgpp_000511.tar.bz2 (80Kb) | lilgpp_000511.zip (140Kb) |
Improved the report generation, reports are now exactly like in the original kernel. I WILL ONLY PUT THE KERNEL HERE FROM NOW ON! That's why the archives are so much smaller that the previous onces. |
lilgpp-000512.tar.gz (156Kb) | lilgpp-000512.tar.bz2 (92Kb) | lilgpp-000512.zip (200Kb) | The kernel is now strongly typed, the extensions of Sean Luke have partially been merged. It seems to work just fine. I include my test application in the archive. I changed the archive name a little, the underscore has been replaced by a dash. |
lilgpp-000515.tar.gz (152Kb) | lilgpp-000515.tar.bz2 (88Kb) | lilgpp-000515.zip (192Kb) | Fixed bug related to the strong typing. The programs crashed as soon as several type were used, this is solved now... See bugs page for more information. |
lilgpp-000530.tar.gz (108Kb) | lilgpp-000530.tar.bz2 (80Kb) | lilgpp-000530.zip (140Kb) | Hmmm, one more bug concerning the exchange of individuals. Things got a little confuse (read it crashed) when there wer more exchanges then subpopulations on a node. I also added a silly "warp" thing in the output... (see bugs page) |
lilgpp-000606.tar.gz (176Kb) | lilgpp-000606.tar.bz2 (104Kb) | lilgpp-000606.zip (424Kb) | Found small defect in orginal kernel code, something small ;-) Only hurts when you used really a lot of memory (too much actually). |
lilgpp-000829.tar.gz (164Kb) | lilgpp-000829.tar.bz2 (92Kb) | lilgpp-000829.zip (204Kb) | Discovered a horrible bug I made when changing the code. There was an ugly mistake when generation non-full trees. BIG NEWS: no need to provide terminals and functions for all the types anymore! There are some pitfalls though (see README.parallel). |
lilgpp-010625.tar.gz (168Kb) | lilgpp-010625.tar.bz2 (104Kb) | lilgpp-010625.zip (220Kb) | Previous archives may have been wrong ones... these are the latest versions!! |
lilgpp-020419.tar.gz (124Kb) | lilgpp-020419.tar.bz2 (104Kb) | lilgpp-020419.zip (220Kb) | Included bugfix for random.c sent by Olivier Nicolas. |
Well yes, you will probably find some bugs in this program. Please inform me about it I so that I can work on it. A little mail will do just fine. Have a look at the debugging faq if you feel up to it... otherwise you can start reading that book you always wanted to read ;-P
